Oreocereus trollii, commonly known as the Old Man of the Andes, is a species of cactus native to high-altitude regions of the Andes mountains in Bolivia and Peru. It is named after the German botanist Wilhelm Troll, who made significant contributions to the study of cacti.

Care guide:

Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.

Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.

Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
