Flower to nearly 5 inches (12.5 cm) across. Petals relatively few, broadly obovate, obtuse to truncate, crinkled at sides, bicolored powdery purplish-pink with paler margins and delicate yellow basal stripe. Throat-circle and filaments pink. Stigma green. Stem semicolumnar, to 4¾ inches (12 cm) in diameter; central spines to 1½ inches (38 mm) long. ISI 2000-29; HBG 85202, Schick 807-21.
