Flower to 5½ inches (13.5 cm) across. Inner petals obovate, ruffled, dark purplish-pink with narrow pale purplish-pink margins and dark reddish-pink midrib. Throat-circle white. Filaments light pink. Stigma light green. Stem semicolumnar, to 3½ inches (9 cm) across; central spines to ⅞ inch (21 mm) long. ISI 98-11; HBG 81763, Schick 1255-3.
