Flower fragrant, star-like to 5 inches (12.5 cm) across. Petals rhomboidal, delicate purplish-pink with paler margins, narrow yellowish basal stripe and dark pink midrib. Throat-circle, filaments and stigma white. Flowers fragrant. Stem semicolumnar, to 3½ inches (9 cm) in diameter; central spines to ½ inch (14 mm) long. ISI 97-23; HBG 80609, Schick 1483-4.
