Description
Copiapoa sarcoana is a species of cactus native to Chile, specifically found in the coastal areas of the Atacama Desert. During the flowering season, which typically occurs in the spring or summer months, Copiapoa sarcoana produces small, yellowish flowers at the top of its stems. As with other species of cacti in the Atacama Desert, Copiapoa sarcoana faces threats from habitat destruction, illegal collection, and climate change.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
