Its a small growing variety of A. Capricorne. Flowers are typical to Capricorne, bright yellow with red throat that open during the day and close just before sunset. Brilliant cactus for beginners.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
Gymnocalycium uruguayense is a small cactus species, usually solitary and barely rising above ground level. Flowers are bright yellow. Spines are close to its body and reminiscent of spider legs.

Astrophytum myriostigma var. nudum (Bishop’s Cap) is a spineless cactus, often solitary, forming a spherical or shortly columnar, bright green, blue-green to gray-green stem.
