Sclerocactus wrightiae is a rare species of cactus known by the common names Wright’s little barrel cactus and Wright’s fishhook cactus. Blooms in pale yellow flowers. Quite hard on own roots, however this plant is low grafted for the ease of cultivation.

It is a miniature globose cactus, erect, unbranched or in small clumps, not deep-seated in substrate, appearing ashy grey and relatively rough in general aspect. It flowers during the day, bearing small pink flowers that come from the apex of the plant.
