Description
Beautiful, small and very peculiar plant, with pectinate spines that look like mealybugs. Like many cacti, Pelecyphora aselliformis requires well-draining soil to prevent waterlogging. It prefers sahde and is adapted to arid conditions. It’s important to avoid overwatering, as cacti are susceptible to root rot in excessively moist conditions.
Care guide:
Soil: Well drained
Watering: Water weekly in spring/summer. No water in winter.
Sun exposure: Full sun, partial shade.
