It is an attractive, low growing cactus with pale yellow/green flowers. This plant has been discovered many years ago, however description of it was lost and therefore many people thought that this plant does not exist at all!

Turbinicarpus Schmiedickeanus subs. Macrochele is a slow growing dwarf cactus, usually solitary but can become branched with age. Like other Turbinicarpus it has a tendency to flower when young. Flowers are small, white and plant can several flushes per season. Spines are soft and somewhat papery.

Solitary cactus, with olive epidermis. It flowers from a very young age in white flowers with beautiful sugar cane like stigma. It is a very slowly growing cactus and requires extremely good drainage, best grown with only 10% organic matter in soil mix.
