Description
This variety typically exhibits a globular or cylindrical stem with prominent ribs. The ribs are deeply furrowed and often irregularly shaped, giving the plant a distinctive appearance. The areoles, from which spines emerge, are spaced along these ribs. The spines of Lobivia saltensis var. multicostata can vary in color and size, but they are generally short and dense. They may be white, yellow, or reddish-brown in color, providing contrast against the greenish stem.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
