Description
Like other varieties of Haworthia truncata, the leaves of H. truncata var. atrofusca have a unique truncated (flat-topped) shape. The leaves are thick and fleshy, resembling a row of green, block-like structures. However, the “atrofusca” variety typically has darker, more subdued leaf coloring, often a deep green to brownish hue. The term “atrofusca” itself refers to the darker (sometimes almost blackish) tone of the leaves, especially when the plant is exposed to more sunlight or stress.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water or very little water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
