Description
The leaves of H. cooperi var. truncata are short, thick, and almost cylindrical, ending in a truncated (flat-topped) shape. The most striking feature of the leaves is their transparency. This translucent quality allows light to pass through the tissue, which is crucial for the plant in its natural habitat.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water or very little water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
