Description
Gymnocalycium pugionacanthum is a species of cactus native to Argentina. The stems are usually dark green in color and can take on a bluish or purplish hue under certain conditions. In spring or early summer, Gymnocalycium pugionacanthum produces colorful flowers that emerge from top of the plant.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
