Description
Gymnocalycium intertextum is native to Argentina, particularly found in the provinces of Salta and Jujuy. It typically grows in rocky terrain, often at elevations ranging from 1000 to 3000 meters above sea level. Like many Gymnocalycium species, Gymnocalycium intertextum produces attractive flowers. The flowers are relatively large compared to the size of the plant, usually around 4-6 cm in diameter.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
