Description
Gymnocalycium horstii is a species of cactus native to South America, specifically found in Argentina. In cultivation, Gymnocalycium horstii is relatively easy to care for. It prefers well-draining soil and plenty of sunlight, making it suitable for growing in containers indoors or in outdoor cactus gardens in regions with a warm, dry climate. Like many cacti, it is drought-tolerant and should be watered sparingly, especially during its dormant period in the winter months.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
