Description
Echinofossulocactus phyllacanthus typically forms solitary or clumping globular stems with pronounced ribs that give the plant a wavy appearance. The stems are usually dark green in color and can have a somewhat flattened top. Each rib is lined with closely spaced tubercles, from which small radial spines and sometimes longer central spines emerge.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
