Watering: No water in winter, weekly spring/summer

Small and very fast clustering species from Bolivia. It has bright red flowers and flowers profusely in a month of July. One of the most beautiful and brightest lobivias.
Turbinicarpus Schmiedickeanus subs. Macrochele is a slow growing dwarf cactus, usually solitary but can become branched with age. Like other Turbinicarpus it has a tendency to flower when young. Flowers are small, white and plant can several flushes per season. Spines are soft and somewhat papery.

Gymnocalycium eurypleurum is a variable low growing species, especially for spination. Some plants have minimal spination while others seem quite heavily armed. Flowers in pure white flowers in summer time.

It is an attractive, low growing cactus with pale yellow/green flowers. This plant has been discovered many years ago, however description of it was lost and therefore many people thought that this plant does not exist at all!
