Description
Coryphantha nickelsiae typically has a globular to slightly cylindrical shape, growing as a solitary stem. The plant is characterized by its prominent, large, and rounded tubercles instead of the ribs seen in many other cacti. Each tubercle has an areole at the tip, which produces spines. The spines are usually straight and can vary in color from white to yellowish or brown. As the plant matures, it may produce offsets, forming small clumps.
