Care guide:
Soil: Well drained
Watering: No water in winter. Weekly in spring/summer.
Sun exposure: Full sun, partial shade.
Solitary cactus, with olive epidermis. It flowers from a very young age in white flowers with beautiful sugar cane like stigma. It is a very slowly growing cactus and requires extremely good drainage, best grown with only 10% organic matter in soil mix.

It is a miniature globose cactus, erect, unbranched or in small clumps, not deep-seated in substrate, appearing ashy grey and relatively rough in general aspect. It flowers during the day, bearing small pink flowers that come from the apex of the plant.

A small solitary cactus with a globular stem, of a reddish-green color. It has well furrowed ribs, where, at the ends, downy white areoles are formed, from which small brown needle-like spines emerge. One of the most beautiful and sought after Gymnocalycium.
