Description
Copiapoa coquimbana is a species of cactus endemic to the Coquimbo Region of Chile. In its natural habitat, Copiapoa coquimbana grows in rocky areas and sandy soils, often in coastal regions. Like other Copiapoa species, it is adapted to the harsh conditions of the Atacama Desert, where rainfall is minimal and temperatures can be extreme.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
