Description
This species typically forms clusters of spherical or cylindrical stems, often with a green hue. The stems are covered in small spines, which can range from whitish to yellowish. Copiapoa calderana is adapted to the extreme arid conditions of its habitat, characterized by minimal rainfall and high temperatures.
Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.
Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.
Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
