Description
The cactus has a globular to columnar shape and typically consists of 3 to 7 ribs, though 5 ribs are most common. The ‘Onzuka’ cultivar is distinguished by its dense white flecking or “snow-like” appearance, which creates an intricate, marbled pattern on the green surface. These white markings are more abundant than in the regular Astrophytum myriostigma.
