Description
Astrophytum coahuilense is a rare, star-shaped cactus native to Coahuila, Mexico. It closely resembles Astrophytum myriostigma but is distinguished by its grayish, felt-like coating and genetic differences. This species typically has 5 ribs, a spineless body, and produces large, yellow, funnel-shaped flowers, sometimes with a reddish center.
