They are relatively small, about 2.5 cm in diameter, and appear near the top of the cactus. This cactus is extremely rare and hard to cultivate therefore grafted on a hardy stock

Soil: Very well drained, non organic soil.

Watering: Once a week in summer time, no water in winter.

Sun exposure: Direct sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
